UBCO is an electric utility motorbike manufacturer from New Zealand and presents their fifth generation UBCO product in the Benelux: the on-road and off-road 2X2 Adventure Bike (available in white or black). Founded on the idea of a rugged all-wheel-drive electric utility bike, UBCO has rapidly evolved into a digitally connected EV platform. Leveraging the benefits of modern electric drive and battery technology, this platform includes on and off-road transport, accessories, and subscription software. Whether you’re taking inspirational journeys, exploring the planet, commuting, or getting jobs done, UBCO wants to ‘power your purpose’.

As a result of customer demand, a dual-use, road-registrable version of the 2X2 was developed, alongside a host of new technology. Adding turning indicators and wing mirrors was only the beginning. It required a massive change in the supply chain to meet the regulatory and quality requirements for use on road. This bike is tougher than ever, with improved torque, power, and traction.

All-wheel drive is provided by the 1kW motor in each wheel. These tough motors work together to provide the traction you need to get you through any terrain and the power to carry all your cargo and equipment. Road legal and ready for adventure, on- and off-road. Perfect for the urban commuter who dislikes traffic jams and the weekend adventurer who enjoys the sounds of nature. A strong alloy frame allows for safe travels and convenient cargo storage for different purposes. The low centre of gravity (CoG) stabilises the bike and makes it easy to maintain an upright position across sloping terrain. Two-wheel drive increases traction for a more stable ride.

The 2X2 features an intuitive design, easy to learn and ride no matter where you are. The braking system provides independent front and rear control with passive (off throttle) and active (brake activated) regenerative braking. You can even control the level of regen through the UBCO app.

This motorbike is quiet, lightweight, and allows you to adventure as nature intended…free and easy! At just 75db, the motors are nearly silent and create no noise pollution, which means you won’t wake or scare the animals while you’re exploring. Easy to lift, and even easier to mount on your van, truck or RV. Featuring all-wheel drive, and a secure step-through frame that provides additional stability while you ride. Go up to 75 miles in whichever direction the wind blows.

Whether it’s a fishing rod, pannier bags, cargo decks, or even your surfboard, the 2X2 is ready for a lot of accessories. With standard M8 nuts & bolts, you can attach anything. These accessories expand the capability even further, to adapt the products to suit your needs and truly power your purpose.

Electric Motorbikes Nederland is an official Zero Motorcycles dealer and also imports young motorcycle brands to the Benelux such as Alrendo Motorcycles, RGNT Motorcycles and Pursang Motorcycles. In addition, Gert-Jan is also representative of Sur-Ron off-road motorcycles, BREKR and NIU. The E-center of Electric Motorbikes is located on the Automotive Campus in Helmond (the Netherlands).

Gert-Jan Rongen, Director: “With Electric Motorbikes Nederland we have been working on the path of this electric two-wheeler mobility for several years now. It is a young, new market with a relatively large number of new players. We are investigating which brands can qualify for the Benelux market. Electric mobility is no longer in doubt. We are all going for a better living environment for now and later. For ourselves but especially for our next generations.”
